Value adding equipment installed at MCS

NEW EQUIPMENT…January 5, 2009, Mitchell Container Services, Inc. (MCS) drum reconditioning plant installs Richmond inline chime machine and dedenter. All steel drum chimes are re-rounded and dedented automatically as they are promoted down the assembly line. This process improves quality and adds value to a Mitchell Container Services, Inc. reconditioned drum.

QUALITY…Our goal is to produce the highest quality reconditioned drum possible.

REUSE…Energy saving, doing more with less and being a good steward of the earth’s resources is on everone’s mind today. The best way to manage finite resources is to reuse manufactured products. What if all new cars were recycled by shredded after the first owner purchases a new car. What tremendous waste of resources that would be. Well, the same argument holds true of steel drums. A steel drum has a life of one to five additional trips before it has no economic value and should be recycled by shredding and becomes feed stock for steel mills.

MCS is a member of two industrial container networks so we can assist your container needs where ever that may be. REPACS is a national network of ten industrial container reconditioners and processors that can service corporations with a national foot print. Reusable Industrial Packaging Association (RIPA) is a worldwide trade association, therefore, gives us access to member companies anywhere in the world.

"We want to add value to your company and do it at the lowest cost."
